My Story
Zachary Driggs Owner/ Independent Agent
Right as Covid started, my wife and I found out we were going to be parents. We were filled with excitement and anxiety as we realized we were going to raise a baby during a pandemic.
I knew I needed to get into a type of business that would support my growing family. I also wanted to have job satisfaction. I remembered back when I worked at my old State Farm office when I helped a lady with her medicare supplement plan, and saved her over $150 a month. Right as she heard what I was going to save her, she broke down in tears… that made me feel amazing. At that time I wanted to start my own agency but decided to join another brokerage selling primarily home, auto, and commercial insurance policies.
After a little over a year at that insurance agency I still had the desire to help more in the medicare field. I reached out to a friend who has been in the medicare industry for his entire life and has been a major influence for hundreds of agents and agencies over the course of his career. He told me something that helped me in my final decision to start my agency. He said “never before has there been a greater need for agents helping seniors in making decisions for their healthcare.” After that conversation I took the leap into starting my own agency and have never looked back.
